This is the USBIO driver for the SDR-1000 to allow for a PC USB port to connect to the SDR-1000 parallel control interface. A USBIO dongle is required. That configuration works, but there is a lot more that WriteLog can do with the FlexRadio if you install its custom FlexRadio rig driver. I am trying in vain to make my F5K communicate with Logger32 and N1MM. Have followed installation advice given along with N8VB vCom, but it seems impossible to make the virtual ports work.
In System/Hardware/handling 3 ports under Multiport serial cards are shown, but only the first one is shown as 'working OK', the two others have a yellow sign, and it seems impossible to update the drivers. I get this response: 'Windows unable to install drivers , code 31'.
Can anyone help me?

I got com0com to work one time and I'm not sure what I did because it never has worked again. The Vcom program never worked at all. Apparently these programs are either very hard to set up or they are are full of bugs. I see several other people are having problems too. The Flex5000 could really benefit from having a Real Com port.

I was planning to do the software install for the Virtual port and Virtual Audio Cable (VAC) and use MixW. Can you tell if if it worked for you.
